Alachua County — The Alachua County Sheriff’s Office promises new helicopter cameras will result in the choppers being quieter and less disruptive for citizens.
The Sheriff’s Office purchased new cameras, which they say will capture clearer HD images.
ASO also says the cameras will be easier to operate because they will show the user overlays of roads and addresses.
ASO says they now have two helicopters with the cameras. Previously they had one helicopter with a camera.
