The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office helicopter landed on a Greenville County high school baseball field Tuesday afternoon as part of an investigation unrelated to the school, according to Spartanburg County Sheriff Chuck Wright.
Wright said a woman with a gunshot wound was found on Highway 290 near Berry Shoals Road Tuesday afternoon.
He said deputies landed the helicopter at Riverside High School in Greenville County has part of the investigation into that shooting.
