HIGHLAND, MI – A Michigan man was arrested this week after he allegedly aimed a green laser pointer at a police helicopter conducting a training exercise in Oakland County, police said.
Around 10:45 p.m. on Monday, May 22, Michigan State Police troopers were flying a helicopter during a joint training exercise with the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office Aviation Unit when the tactical flight officer noticed a green laser pointed at the aircraft, according to a news release from MSP.
