MODESTO (July 18, 2023) – CNC Technologies, an aviation technology and wireless communications company serving the law enforcement, military and government markets, announced today that they supported the Modesto Police Department with the establishment of their Aviation Unit.
CNC Technologies sold the Modesto Police Department a fully-equipped GippsAero GA8 airplane that was previously operated by the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office. CNC took the GippsAero GA8 Airvan as a trade-in while delivering a missionized Cessna Grand Caravan to the State of Pennsylvania.
CNC’s guidance included contractual due diligence, assistance with aircraft inspections, and logistical and financial support. This all took place while Modesto’s budget, legal and operational teams worked together to close the transaction. The result was a mission-ready aircraft that was put into service almost immediately upon arrival in Modesto, California.
